Designing Baseball Cards
A few days ago, I had received my new MacBook Air which I ordered earlier on with the purpose of creating digital artwork in Adobe programs for school/for fun. After completing some of my homework early on Saturday I had the idea of making some kind of creative work that wasn't just for school. I decided to make "contemporary" baseball cards as I am a big baseball fan, I wanted to express my excitement for the new season by making artwork relating to it.
I originally Only had three of the pieces made (being the Hank Aaron, Ken Griffey Jr., and Jackie Robinson cards), but I enjoyed creating them so much I decided to continue. While working on these I heavily used the object selection tool in Photoshop, as it made selecting and cropping the images so easy. I don't know why I haven''t really used that tool before now, but I will definitely use it for selecting images more due to its ease of use.
