Bulletin

When I began creating the bulletin, I thought that I would struggle far more than I actually did due to me having no experience unlike with Photoshop and Illustrator. Though this was true I feel like I succeeded with making an interesting, eye-catching composition. I kept using the same basic color scheme of blue, white, and black for the many elements of the bulletin but also added green for the section about the children's ministry which I believe to fit with the lighter/cooler colors associated with the church. The dominant fonts used throughout the bulletin include Arial Black font which looks similar to that in the logo and the thin Acumin Variable Concept which provides both contrast and complement with the boldness of Arial. Many of the headline texts in the bulletin are in front of colored rectangles which contain related, low-opacity, images in them. I felt like this design choice would allow my composition to not only be more interesting, but also more unique than other projects from the past.
