Ideas for VBS Bumper Animation
While thinking of specific objects/shapes to use for the latest assignment, I came up with the idea of using a variety of colorful, food-shaped objects that would go along with the (working) title "Food Fight". I went with this theme as Creating food such as pizza, burgers, apples (no not apples), hotdogs, or fries would consist of very basic shapes that wouldn't be too difficult to create. I also felt like the theme of many brightly colored foods would be appealing to the children that would attend the hypothetical Vacation Bible School. For the animation itself, I thought of using a motion where numerous "food" objects would fall down (as shown in the tutorial) before the logo (and other information) would fade in. The bumper would be taken from a somewhat direct, long-shot angle and contain highly saturated objects based off the following images:
